Cellular

Cellular is a journey from vibrant colour to quiet contemplation.  This long, narrow canvas began as a more colorful work, but has been transformed through layers of whites and neutrals.  The process of scratching and scraping reveals glimpses of the underlying hues, adding depth and intrigue to the muted surface.  The cell-like divisions suggest a sense of structure and interconnectedness, while the overall effect is one of subtle beauty and layered meaning.

The artwork measures 100 x 45 cm and was completed in 2022.
