Fuji

This piece is inspired by the contour lines of Mount Fuji in Japan.  Using a soft, muted colour palette, sections are highlighted in gentle tones, each area meticulously filled with delicate concentric white lines.  The intricate detailing evoking a sense of fragility and serenity, mirroring the calm yet powerful presence of the mountain itself.  The rhythmic flow of the lines draws the eye across the canvas, inviting quiet contemplation and reflection.

The artwork measures 42 x 60 cm and was completed in 2025.
