Helvellyn

This painting offers a unique perspective on one of the Lake District's most popular destinations. Inspired by the detailed information of Ordnance Survey maps, The contours of Helvellyn are rendered in a vibrant orange against a neutral background.  The inclusion of Thirlmere lake, depicted in soft blues and greens, provides a focal point and adds a touch of colour to the otherwise monochromatic palette.

The artwork measures 91 x 61 cm and was completed in 2023.
