Peacock

Peacock is a celebration of colour and form.  Titled so, as the colours are reminiscent of its feathered namesake.  

The composition evolved through exploration and play with paper cut-outs, resulting in a dynamic arrangement of crisp lines and bold shapes.  The colours are bright and vibrant, the luminous orange-red square taking center stage, appearing to almost leap from the canvas.  

The artwork measures 51 x 76 cm and was completed in 2023.
