This painting presents a striking geometric composition with three distinct, stacked shapes.  The colour palette is cool and muted, set against a dark background that enhances the contrast and depth of the forms.

The use of crackle glaze and layered acrylic paint creates an aged and weathered texture, giving the shapes an organic, timeworn quality.  The cracks and subtle variations in the surface evoke the passage of time, resembling natural materials like aged stone, dried earth, or ancient pottery.

The balanced arrangement of the forms suggests harmony and stability, while the rough, tactile textures introduce an element of imperfection, making the piece feel both structured and raw.  The interplay between geometry and texture adds depth, making the painting feel almost sculptural.

The artwork measures 50 x 100cm and was completed in 2023.
